Show Time!!

Posted on: September 16th, 2011 by RalenRay

Tomorrow is a very exciting day! Its my second real dressage horse show and I am wickedly excited! My horse Rain and I are going to wipe out the competition like no body’s business! We rented a stall for Rain this time so she wont have to stand in the glaring sun…. well, maybe that’s not an issue anymore! Where did our Great Summer go!!! Oh well, I don’t mind, because I am a true Oregonian and I love the rain! Anyway, back to the show, I have been training up for this FOREVER and can’t wait to put my riding to the test. There are six ribbons to be won in each class, and I swear if I don’t get one this time I’m going to go buy one myself!! Just kidding, I want to earn it like everyone else. Last time I did pretty good, but this time I want to really give it my all, baby! wish me luck!!!

Here’s a video from our last show – August 2011

As my first post I decided to tell the world about my moms sandwich she created. It is all vegetarian, because that’s the way I eat. We have started making them when we go trail riding, and they really hit the spot. The secret recipe for the sandwich is…

  • One Ciabatta roll, split in half
  • Spread mayonnaise on one half, honey and Grey Poupon Dijon mustard on
